CMO's begginer guide (pt. 1)

This post is focused in the "free to play" experience.

Tamer creation

The first aspect of the game is the character creation, also known as tamer creation.

There are four different tamers in the game and four digimon, that you may pick freely. There's bonuses in picking one tamer over another, so choose your favorite one. But there are differences between digimon, because of that, choosing one specific line could impact hugely your gaming experience. The fourth digimon slot from left to right is a slot where the digimon is not always the same, they change it weekly, this fourth slot may contain: Dorimon (Dorumon), Yaamon (Impmon), Hopmon (Monodramon), Chibimon (Veemon).
My recommendation is  Viximon (Renamon), this is a consistent digimon line.

As you may see, Sakuyamon is DATA, has an 2421 build and her F3 skill is hits all enemy digimon (AoE), this skill will help you kill weak digimon with one hit. One hidden information is her offensive trait. Remember to add all points to STR in her "D" tab.

Here are some words that you may be unfamilliar with:

1st DATA: is one of the four possible attributes in this game, which are DATA, VIRUS, VACCINE, UNKNOWN; for short, DATA does more damage against VACCINE, VACCINE against VIRUS, VIRUS against DATA and UNKNOWN does more damage against all other attributes.

2nd Build: is one number with 4 digits which tell you what statuses your digimon will earn after leveling up; 2421, for example, means 2 STR, 2, DEX, 2 CON and 1 INT; the most important statuses are both STR and DEX when we are talking about DPS digimon, CON and INT are the most important when we are talking about TANK digimon.

3rd Trait: is a passive skill which may or may not active while battling.

First steps with your tamer

After creating your character, log into it in order to start your game. You'll find yoursel in the initial map. Talk to the first 4 NPCs, which are:

Each one of them will give you a Tutorial Book. After speaking with them, type ".exit" in the chat and go to the first city. If you're a complete newbie to this game, I recommend reading all of those Tutorial Books.
Open up your SHOP, insert your secondary password get the VIP Rewards Package box and open it:
You'll receive some temporary items (30 days), equip all of the red squared ones. When you reach tamer level 11, you'll be able to equip the digivice (D-Ark).

Capturing digimon

After this, go to Heaven (S) in (58,148) coordinates, click in the Blue Net with your right mouse button and click on Upamon with your left mouse button:

Upamon is the in-training form of Armadillomon, he is one of the best tankers in the game, since his build gives him lots of CON and INT, which are defensive statuses. This digimon will help you a lot later when it reaches level 71, because you'll be able to equip him with Provocation. Remember to add all points to CON.
After capturing it, go to Digi-Park and talk to "I" NPC, sell your four Tutorial Books, you'll earn 20k BITs this way. Buy 10 teleports to Mudfrigimon, but don't use it already.

Go to Peace Woods in (23,42) coordinates and capture Ryudamon with you Orange Net.

Ryudamon is one of the best begginer digimon available, since it has a decent DPS build. It'll be useful in the late game too, because you may change its Mega Evolution into a Sacred Beast, for example, Baihumon. Remember to add all points to STR.
After capturing it, set it as your team leader opening your Digimon List using "L" in your keyboard, click in the L right next to Ryudamon.

Leveling up

Go to (105,276) coordinates in the same map and kill Guillmon (C) until your Ryudamon reaches level 21. Remember to always summon your digimon to battle, 'cause you'll earn more Tamer Experience, you may call your digimons using the "R" command during battle and choosing them with your mouse.

When you reach level 21, open up your Digimon List again and select Ryudamon, his "D" tab will open, add all skill points to F2 in all Ryudamon's evolutions until they reach level 10. All those skill are AoE, so they'll help you kill weak mobs faster. In Renamon's and Armadillomon's case, always add points in their F3.

Use your Mudfrigimon's teleport and go to "I" NPC. Buy more 10 teleports, but this time for Gekomon, but don't use it already.
Go to Square World (86, 83) and kill Skullgreymon until level 51 with all your digimon. Skullgreymon is a good choice 'cause it may drop an item called "Nonameitem", this is a Title Item that you may equip in your digimon. I recommend equiping it in your Ryudamon if you drop it. You may check you titles opening your digimon "D" tab, selecting it and clicking in the left button in the same tab.

When you reach level 51, go to Gekomon, go to the "C" NPC and buy 200 Plug-in N, 200 Bostter Chip and 200 Data Overload, equip all cards and set Sakuyamon as your team leader, you'll be able to kill all digimon with one F3.

After that, go to Geko Swamp (51,145) and kill Lilamon until your tamer level reaches 301. One thing is essential in this moment: always summon your 3 digimon while battling with you D-Ark equiped, doing this will give you more Tamer Experience and you'll reach 301 faster.

Obs.: One alternative is killing Skullgreymon in DoD 2 (53,81), you may buy a DoD teleport in Gekomon. The only difference is that Ryudamon will still be your leader instead of Renamon.

After you reach level 201, you may do Robust Quest and, after level 301, you may equip stronger items to your tamer.

Earning BITs

BITs may be earned by many ways, for example, selling items to NPCs, selling items to players, killing monsters or doing dungeons.

For begginers, I think one of the best ways to earn BITs is selling some items to NPCs, the ones that I recommend are these crests which drops from B, V, E and L digimon:
Most of the time, they're ignored, but each one costs a bit quantitiy of money. Getting them and selling, you'll earn some millions of BITs, which may be useful for buying certain items.

Daily quest

Its NPC may be found in "Q" letter in Digital Heaven.

The daily quest is a drop mission. Every day after 9PM (Brasília's time) new drops will be selected randomly. In the image below, you may see that you can exchange 5 different drops for medals. I recommend you starting them as soon as possible.

When you type ".mshop" in the chat, you'll open a shop. I recommend buying Bags (item inventory expansion) and Wallets (card inventory expansion), always buy bags first. The other items are less useful.

Guild

One aspect of the game is the Guild, through it you may make new friends, deepen your game knowledge, join dungeon parties and receive help. I consider it an essential part of the game, because, without friends, the game is harder.
To solve it, you may leave your name, nationality and languages that you speak in "guild-recruitment" tab in Discord, you'll join one soon.

    Have fun playing!

A special thanks to both Teixeira and Cusoca for letting me use their digimon lines' images.
